Chapel Level care home in Kirkcaldy had re-found his love for music and had been using it to relax.
Gerry Steed, who lives in the 59-bed nursing and nursing dementia care home has recently re-found his love for rock music.
When the Colleagues were chatting to Gerry and he mentioned that he used to play in a rock band.
His favourite music is 60’s and 70’s rock with Pink Floyd being his favourite band.
The home had a set of headphone and Gerry spent the afternoon listening to all his favourite songs. He had a huge smile on his face and his body was moving to the music.
Gerry had a lovely afternoon and asked if he could listen to his favourite music more often.
Jodie Clark, Home Manager, commented, “Gerry had a lovely afternoon and it was lovely to see him smiling away.”
