Residents at Willow Brook care home in Carlton enjoyed a sentimental Mother’s Day as they joined together in activities at the home.
The activities kicked off with a delicious afternoon tea, including a selection of sandwiches and homemade cakes.
Residents were joined by friends and family for the event, where they also enjoyed the sweet and savoury treats and entertainment from singer, Alex Belfield.
To mark the special day, staff at Willow Brook also created a wall full of photos of Residents with their daughters and mothers.
One Resident commented: “I had a wonderful afternoon. The photo wall is such a beautiful idea and really brought a tear to my eye.”
