For Mother’s Day, the team at Grampian Court bought each of the female Residents a cupcake, which they put into boxes and sealed with a ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ sticker.
Each of the mother’s also received a handmade card saying ‘Mothers are like buttons, they hold everything together’. For any of the ladies without children, they also received a card saying ‘Some people are like buttons, they hold everything together”, as they have helped raise nieces and nephews.
Each of the handmade cards were made leading up to Mother’s Day in their arts and crafts sessions.
Everyone was overjoyed to receive a card and a cupcake as well as being able to enjoy the day with their loved ones.
Residents commented on how special the day was and how they loved having the opportunity to have lunch with their family members.
