Moreton-in-Marsh care home helps wishes come true for local communityOak Tree Mews care home in Moreton-in-Marsh has helped wishes come true for the local community with a kind donation.

As part of Oak Tree Mews’ efforts to transform the home’s garden in time for Residents to enjoy summer, staff were delighted to receive a donation of pallets to help them complete the new summer house.

Maintenance Operative Kevin was so overwhelmed by the kind gesture, that he built a new Wishing Well as a way of saying thank you. This was donated to a new charity shop opening up in the local area.

Tracey Milsom, Home Manager at Oak Tree Mews, said: “We were delighted to receive the pallets, which enabled us to finish our summer guest house, and were keen to ensure we gave back to the local community.

“The wishing well was the perfect way to show our appreciation and we hope it brings great joy to customers at the new charity shop.”
