Residents at Foxton Court care home in Morpeth enjoyed a Mind Activity Day in Blyth for an afternoon of exciting activities.
Entertainment included a performance from the brilliant Kevin Royale, followed by a delicious lunch for everyone to enjoy after a session of singing and dancing.
After eating, a raffle took place, with Resident Marjorie taking home the prize for the home. Marjorie also took the lead on the dancefloor, with Care Assistant Kristie dancing alongside her.
Everyone had a brilliant day from start to finish, especially as three of the ladies attending had expressed that they wanted to attend a Mind Activity Day as part of their three wishes.
Louise Dey, Deputy Manager at Foxton Court, said: “The Residents always have a brilliant day at the Mind Activity sessions. It’s lovely to hear them talk about how much they enjoyed it when they come back into the home.”
