Rita & Mel Williams recently celebrated their 70th Wedding anniversary at HC-One The Daffodils Care Home located on Dynevor Street.
Rita is a regular visitor to the care home where she takes the opportunity to enjoy short breaks from time to time. The happy couple were able to celebrate their platinum wedding anniversary surrounded by family and friends with a party arranged by the staff at The Daffodils.
A surprise visitor for them was Merthyr Tydfil’s Deputy Mayor Councillor Clive Tovey who attended and presented Mr & Mrs Williams with a card and flowers.
