Residents at HC-One’s
The Beeches, nursing care and nursing memory care home, in Dumbermline, had a great time over the festive period.
On the 16th of December, the Residents enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon at the annual Christmas part. Everyone enjoyed some lovely music from Michael Paterson. The Residents had a lovely afternoon singing and dancing along with him, fellow Residents, and staff.
Not only was there live music but Residents also enjoyed some Christmas games which included: toss the rings on the reindeer’s antlers, guess how many candles in the jar, a dice game that is like pass the parcel and many more. It was such a laugh!
The Residents also loved receiving an early Christmas present from Santa, it put a great smile on their faces.
Once the party was coming to a wrap, the Residents sat down to enjoy a lovely buffet and some cold drinks. It was a great end to the day.
One Resident, commented, “It was amazing to have some live entertainment again after so long without it.”
Another Resident, said, “It was a fun afternoon, something different.”
Angela Heyes, Care Home Manager, added, “It was a great afternoon for the Residents, they had a fabulous time!”
