Jimmy O’Donnell brings memories of childhood days to the Residents at HC-One’s Cold Springs Park Care Home in Penrith.
Laughter was heard throughout the home when Jimmy paid a visit, as he brought with him moments of holidays and songs from the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s.
He embraced the audience with warmth, laughter and melodies and they enjoyed singing along to Doris Day and Max Bygraves.
Bringing out props from items of old, the Residents were excited to give a slice of the memories that they hold dear, whilst enjoying hot beverages and refreshments.
Jimmy even managed to bring in jobs that the Residents had worked hard on, in the days of keeping the country moving.
