Member of the community knits for Grimsby care home ResidentsOn 28th November, Clarendon Hall care home, in Grimsby, Northeast Lincolnshire, received an amazing donation of handmade blankets for the Residents. 

Ann Tapp, who lives in the local area near to the home, said that she wanted to help out Residents this year and made these beautiful blankets with a friend (pictured). She said that she is happy to help and enjoys doing it.

Upon receiving the blankets, Wendy Woods, who is a Carer at the home, said, “Wow thank you so much they are lovely!”

Residents loved how colourful and different all the blankets are. Jessie Nalder, who lives at the 49-bed residential and nursing care home, said, “That is lovely, it will keep me warm.”

Nicola Walker, Home Manager, commented, “Thank you so much for thinking of us, they will definitely go down well at our home.”
