Melbury Court Residents have stacks of fun for Pancake DayResidents at Melbury Court care home in County Durham enjoyed a pancake tossing competition for Pancake Day, where they battled it out to be crowned the home’s champion.

Everyone had a great laugh as they waited it out to see who could keep the pancake in the pan the longest while flipping it.

Jean Robinson was crowned champion after managing to keep flipping for more than 100 flips, closely followed by Marie Fenwick who scored a respectable 89.

Jean said: “It was a good laugh trying to complete all the flips without dropping the pancake.”

Nicola Coulson, Home Manager, said: “Pancake Day 2019 was certainly a great success. Everyone was waiting in anticipation to see who would be crowned victorious.”
