Mediterranean adventure for Castletown care home ResidentsSix jet-setting Residents at HC-One’s Northview Lodge care home in Castletown, Tyne and Wear headed to the airport for a Spring break in Turkey accompanied by three members of the care team.

When they touched down in Turkey, Residents were keen to see all of the wonderful sights on offer, everyone had a great time exploring the streets, sampling the cuisine and learning about the culture.  

One Resident, Hannah was determined to conquer her fears and experience paragliding, Nursing Assistant, Paul McCully was on hand to support Hannah throughout the once in a lifetime opportunity. 

A great time was had by all, with all Residents commenting on what a wonderful holiday they had and saying they would love to visit another exotic destination again. 

Northview Lodge Home Manager, Patrick Morley said: “What an amazing experience for our Residents, it was wonderful to hear about Hannah taking part in such an adrenaline filled activity.”
