Residents at Meadowlands care home in Aberdare showcased their creative flair at the home’s monthly poetry club.
While they wrote and shared their poems, Residents enjoyed afternoon tea, with homemade cake and hot drinks.
One Resident commented: “I always really look forward to sharing what I’ve been working on at poetry club. The afternoon tea was delicious too.”
Sandra Vernal, Home Manager at Meadowlands, said: “Poetry club is a really popular activity at Meadowlands. It’s lovely to see the Residents create such lovely poems about topics they are passionate about.”
