Meadow Bank Residents love visiting local garden centresOn what was a lovely, sunny day in Preston (for February!) Residents from Meadow Bank care home had a wonderful afternoon at Birkacre garden centre in Chorley.

Audrey, Margaret and John, who all live at the 110-bed residential, nursing and dementia care home, enjoyed an outing with the company of Wellbeing Coordinators Kerry and Dawn, Care Assistant Chantelle and Gardener Norman. Norman, as always, was happy to be their chauffer for the day and everyone loves chatting to him.

The group enjoyed a stroll around the shops and finished with a brew and delicious slice of cake in the cafĂ©.

Melanie Matthews, Receptionist at Meadow Bank, commented, “Being able to get some of our Residents out and about is really lovely.”
