Meadow Bank care home collect gifts for local children this ChristmasMeadow Bank care home, in Bamber Bridge, Preston, have been generously festive this year by collecting gifts for children in the local area.  

Teaming up with local Caritas Care (Adoption & Fostering Charity North West) and the local Emmanuel Church, people at the 110-bed residential, nursing and dementia care home, have been collecting gifts for children from families who are affected financially this Christmas.

Meadow Bank received a list with names of 45 children, and together Colleagues raised 45 gifts for each and every one. The gifts were then delivered to the Plungington Community Centre, in Preston, to be distributed.

Colleague Linda Thompson, commented, “Fantastic response by all the team at Meadow Bank! I feel very privileged to work with such caring team.”
