Mayor of Belper, Peter Hurst joined HC-One’s Bankwood care home in Belper, to celebrate the sixth annual Care Home Open Day on 21st April.
The choirs will sang ‘You Are My Sunshine’ at the same time, creating a ‘Big Sing’ that brings HC-One homes across the country together in unison.
To celebrate in style, the Mayor joined the home in taking part in the ‘Big Sing’ and stayed to enjoy some delicious cakes with the Residents and visitors.
The Mayor was given a tour of the home and met with Residents and colleagues to see first-hand the kind care being delivered.
