Peter Brooks joined HC-One’s Gallions View in London to celebrate the sixth annual Care Home Open Day on 21st April.
To celebrate in style, Peter Brooks joined the home in their celebrations, meeting the Residents once again and enjoying a cup of tea and a slice of cake with them.
A barbeque was organised for all Residents and staff at Gallions View in celebration of the Queen’s birthday and Care Home Open Day 2018. Later a local church choir visited the home, where the Residents enjoyed joining in with the singing.
Peter Brooks was given a tour of the home and met with Residents and colleagues to see first-hand the kind care being delivered.
Gallions View’s Home Manager, Lorna Lewis said:
“It was a very pleasant day enjoyed by all. The Residents had a great day and loved seeing the mayor again and joining in with the choir. Everyone enjoyed the food at our barbeque in the glorious sunshine.”
