Martial arts club celebrates first anniversary with five star performance at Broadway care homeResidents at Brompton House care home in Broadway, Worcestershire enjoyed a five star performance from Hoa-Ho Evesham Martial Arts School as it marked its one year anniversary.

The martial arts school was established on 15th January 2019 and teaches children the art of Qwan Ki Do, which is one of the greatest methods of Vietnamese martial arts.

Accompanied by club instructor Julian, students at Hoa-Ho visited Brompton House to give a special first anniversary performance for Residents living at the home.

After the performance had come to an end, Residents found out more information about Qwan Ki Do and the children showed off the medals they had won in competitions throughout the year.

Zoe Miller, Home Manager at Brompton House, said: “At HC-One, community engagement is one of our top priorities when promoting wellbeing of those living in our homes. It was an honour to host the students from Hoa-Ho martial arts school as they celebrated their one year anniversary.

“Our Residents thoroughly enjoyed the performance, especially as it was the first time many of our Residents had associated with martial arts. Following the success of the first show, we are already looking forward to working with the club again in the future.”
