Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s 80-bed
Market Lavington care home, in Market Lavington, Wiltshire, have been exploring their creatives sides as they prepare for the King’s Coronation weekend.
With the support of the wellbeing team, Residents worked together to create wonderful decorations for the upcoming royal occasion, while Relatives and Friends were also able to join in with the group activities.
Wellbeing Coordinator Michaela Powell reported: “There were smiles all round as the paint poured and the glitter got everywhere! Our Residents had a lovely time, talking between them about the upcoming coronation and discussing their advice to the king for the future of his reign.”
After the arts and crafts, Residents, Relatives and Friends enjoyed a well-earned hot drink with a piece of cake. Relatives and Friends of Residents have also been invited to come along on Sunday 7th May for the care home’s coronation afternoon tea party.
Natasha Howard, Care Home Manager said: “I really like how the home has been decorated, and it’s so lovely to be able to invite Relatives to our group again so they can experience first-hand the activities we offer at Market Lavington. Everyone looked happy and to be enjoying themselves."
