Mansfield care home staff receive award for kind careThree staff members at Berry Hill Park care home in Mansfield have received awards for their commitment to providing the kindest possible care to their Residents.

Andrea Bull, Dawn Ellis and Jayne Underwood were presented with HC-One’s Kindness in Care Award, which recognises the efforts of the company’s kindest colleagues, and the impact they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones.

Andrea, who is a Nursing Assistant at the home, was nominated for the award by Ruth, a Resident at Berry Hill Park, after she accompanied and supported her during a recent hospital stay.

Dawn, a Care Assistant, received the award after a visiting professional witnessed her helping Resident Violet with her lunch in a friendly and caring manner.

Fellow Care Assistant Jayne received the third Kindness in Care Award for the high-quality care that she has shown when welcoming a new Resident to the home.

Sally Tebbett, Home Manager at Berry Hill Park, presented her Colleagues with their awards.

Sally commented: “The staff at Berry Hill Park always go the extra mile to provide the kindest possible care to our Residents, to make them feel at home and put a smile on their faces.

“Andrea, Dawn and Jayne are truly deserving of the Kindness in Care Award, as it highlights the important work they do for our Residents and for HC-One overall.”

Dawn said: “I am delighted to have received this award from HC-One. It is my top priority to ensure that Residents receive the kindest possible care at all times to maintain their mental and physical wellbeing.
