Mansfield care home Resident is reunited with feathered friendBerry Hill Park care home in Mansfield was delighted to reunite Resident Lilian with her much-loved, feathery friend Max.

Lilian first came to stay at Berry Hill Park back in April and, while she was very happy at the home, she longed to be reunited with her beloved pet Max.

After Lilian returned to live at Berry Hill Park a little while later, following a short stay at home, Colleagues agreed to allow Max to live at the home with Lilian as they could see how happy he made her.

Lilian and Max are very much enjoying life at Berry Hill Park together, with Max perching on Lilian’s shoulders in the evening as she watches TV in her room.

Sally Tebbett, Home Manager at Berry Hill Park, said: “We were delighted to welcome Lilian and her beloved friend Max into the home. There is no better feeling than putting a smile on a Resident’s face and we were delighted we could make Lilian’s wish come true.”
