Residents at HC-One’s Maple Lodge care home enjoyed an afternoon of fun as they played with various magnets, creating patterns and sticking them together.
Everyone enjoyed playing with the objects as they created different shapes and looked at how the magnets attracted to one another or repelled.
One Resident remarked at how amusing the magnets were once they stuck together, and how they enjoyed interacting more with other Residents during such a fun activity.
Sarah Dodd, Home Manager, commented: “Activities like this are good for Residents as they enjoy being creative and seeing how things work. They have had such fun trying to create shapes.”
