Staff at Magna care home in Wigston were delighted to receive a Kindness in Care award following special recognition from a late Resident’s family.
Barrie, brother of Resident Monica, sent a lovely email to HC-One CEO Justin Hutchens, which commended the kindness and care provided to his sister during her stay at Magna.
Following this act of recognition, Barrie’s family were met at Magna by Managing Director, Liz Whyte, and Area Director, Katherine Webster, who presented flowers, chocolates and the Kindness in Care Awards to the home’s manager and Colleagues.
One Resident commented: “What a lovely surprise for the staff here. They all deserve this award.”
