Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s St Margaret’s care home were delighted as they held a coffee morning in the home, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Everyone sat down to enjoy an assortment of home made scones, chocolate cakes, muffins and fairy cakes, baked by the home’s chef, Andrew.
Conversation and laughter were had by all as Residents and Relatives socialised with members of the local community.
The home were happy to have raised £31.50 which went towards the important cause.
Katherine Swainston, Home Manager, commented: “It has been wonderful to enjoy a coffee morning with Residents, Relatives and friends, whilst raising money for such a great cause.”
