On the hottest day recorded in the UK, Residents from HC-One’s Milliner House enjoyed a dip in the pool and an ice cream as they cooled off in the home’s garden.
Residents reminisced of their past summer holidays on the seaside as they chatted and enjoyed the glorious sunshine with their feet soaking in the paddling pools.
Each person enjoyed a deliciously cold ice cream in the heat which helped to cool them down, with Residents commenting on how lovely it was.
Kathryn Sygrove, Home Manager, commented: “It’s been a lovely hot day, and Residents have really enjoyed being in the garden to cool off in the paddling pools with an ice cream. It’s also been such a good opportunity for them to reminisce of the holidays they went on when they were younger.”
