Luau at Victoria Manor care homeHawaii came to Victoria Manor care home this weekend, with an Hawaiian themed afternoon that was attended by Residents and their Relatives.

Colleagues at Victoria Manor all got their colourful Hawaiian shirts on, with some fantastic inflatable flamingos. Residents and Relatives enjoyed some music along with a nice spread of different foods.

A tiki bar was setup which was serving mocktails to anybody who wanted them in the afternoon. There was a raffle also setup for after eating which many Residents got involved with and a tombola session came after which was quite popular among many of the Residents. A live entertainer also sang some summery songs throughout the day.

The event was quite a hit with Residents and Relatives, many of who were up and dancing along with the music and singing along. One Resident highlighted how wonderful Colleagues looked and how beautiful the mocktails looked. Another Resident went on to say, “This was such a beautiful day, the weather worked perfect for our Luau!”

Tina, the Home Manager at Victoria Manor went on to say, “It was such a fantastic event, thank you to all who attended and joined in with our raffle and tombola. But most of all we hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did”.
