Loving the lippy at Bexhill-on-Sea care homeColleagues and Residents at Grosvenor Park care home in Sussex, all celebrated lipstick day with fun lipstick facts, themed quotes and of course a mini lip makeover!

The Residents all enjoyed choosing a new lipstick of their own from a range of colours and showing off their ‘new lippy’.

“One of our residents told us about how after the second world war there was a shipment of lipsticks from Canada which came to Debenhams and she can remember queuing up to buy one!” remarked one of the Grosvenor Park carers.

Pam, Jean, Moo, Margaret, Sheila, Liz, Eileen all loved trying their new lipsticks.

Jackie O'Callaghan, Home Manager, said, “Even the smallest things such as lipsticks can trigger a memory. We try to come up with a range of different activities for everyone and the lipstick theme went down superbly! Well done team”.
