Alexander Court care home in Sheffield hosted a day full of lovely activities as Residents gathered together to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Residents enjoyed making love heart-shaped sun catchers to mark the day of love.
Among the celebratory activities was also a beautiful afternoon tea, where Residents were served tea and coffee in china cups, and also enjoyed a selection of cakes made by Kerry, Alexander Court’s cook.
Once everyone finished their tea, they enjoyed sharing a story of love from their past.
One Resident commented: “I really enjoyed celebrating Valentine’s Day this year. Hearing everyone’s love stories really put a smile on my face.”

The craft session and afternoon tea went down a real treat and were the perfect way to mark Valentine’s Day 2019.”
