Valentine’s Day celebrations were in full swing at Willow Brook care home in Nottingham as Residents and staff joined together to celebrate the day of love.
Staff decorated the home with beautiful pink and red decorations before hosting a number of exciting activities for Residents to enjoy with their loved ones.
The entertainment began with a performance of love songs from a local singer, with staff and Residents dancing along to the music.
Everyone also helped to create and decorate a Valentine’s Day frame, which Residents enjoyed taking photos with.
Residents also created Valentine’s Day cards and a lovely poem, all while enjoying heart-shaped shortbread which was homemade by kitchen staff.
One Resident commented: “I really enjoyed celebrating Valentine’s Day at Willow Brook, it was perfect.”
Marie Duke Parker, Home Manager at Willow Brook, said: “It was lovely to bring everyone together to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The day was filled with love and laughter, with smiles on everyone’s faces as they took part in all the activities.”
