Valentine’s Day celebrations were underway at Grosvenor House care home in Harrogate as Residents joined together to celebrate the special day.
Celebrations began with a lovely Valentine’s lunch, where each Resident received a single red rose.
Everyone enjoyed a delicious chicken dinner, with heart-shaped potatoes. For dessert, Residents were treated to a lovely pink mousse, topped with fresh raspberries and strawberries, which was accompanied by homemade shortbread and a nice cold glass of sparkling wine.
One Resident commented: “Valentine’s Day has been so special this year, especially with the addition of the lovely chicken dinner.”
Lezlee Leahy, Wellbeing Coordinator at Grosvenor House, said: “At HC-One, we strive to celebrate a variety of events with our Residents throughout the year. Our Residents really enjoyed celebrating Valentine’s Day together, and the happiness was evident after seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces.”
