Valentine’s Day celebrations were in full swing at Airedale care home in Pudsey as Residents prepared for the universal day of love.
Residents showed off their creative flair when making decorations for the home, with Margaret cutting out red hearts for the home’s front door and Terry personalising his Valentine’s Day card with some impressive sketches.
Helen, the Wellbeing Coordinator at Airedale, served tea and cake to the Residents while they concentrated on the crafts session.
Margaret commented: “I really enjoyed doing this activity, especially the tea and cake!”
Julie Spencer, Home Manager at Airedale, said: “Everyone was really excited for Valentine’s Day here at Airedale, and even more so when they saw the home fully decorated! It was lovely to see what the Residents created for the big day.”
