Mavis, one of the Residents at
Lothian House in Spennymoor which offers residential and residential memory care, for those living with dementia, is a huge Elvis Presley fan and loves to listen to his music and watch his films.
The Colleagues at Lothian House got together and decided to purchase a life size cut out of Elvis for her bedroom.
The Elvis life size cut out was then presented to Mavis and she was absolutely over the moon.
Mavis remarked, “I absolutely love the cut out but wished he was the real thing!”
Jill Morton-Carr, Care Home Manager, remarked, “This was an absolutely brilliant idea and to see the smile on Mavis’ face was great”.
