Lothian House Hosts Annual Christmas Party With Inaugural Resident Signing Group PerformanceHC-One’s Lothian House opened its doors on Friday 15th December for their annual Christmas event.
Friends, family and members of the local community were welcomed into Lothian House on 15th December to enjoy delicious food and drinks with the Residents along with a very special first performance from the Resident singing group.

It was the first performance for the singing group and they performed some festive favourites including ‘Silent Night’, ‘White Christmas’ and ‘The Little Drummer Boy’. Their performance was thoroughly enjoyed by all the visitors and staff who sang along with the group.

The Residents have a weekly get together where they sing a variety of songs, they are looking forward to performing at more events at Lothian House in the future.

Jill Carr, Lothian House Home Manager, said:

“I was absolutely overwhelmed by the performance, I feel so privileged to be the Home Manager at Lothian House. It was a fantastic opportunity to show our external stakeholders and visiting professionals that we are so much more than a 'care home'.

“The residents were also very pleased with how their performance went and enjoyed a well-deserved tipple afterwards."

Stephen Butterworth, HC-One’s Area Director, said:

“It’s great to hear that the staff and Residents at Lothian House are equally excited about the new singing group. Hopefully the group will continue to expand and enjoy more performances in 2018.”
