As it is St George’s Day, Northwich based care home, Acorn Hollow, which offers residential and nursing care, held a garden party; with an extra special touch – a pie and a pint!
The local butchers had kindly donated pies for the party and the local paper even came to take pictures and cover the story!
There was music, hats and the famous St George’s flag which decorated the garden as 14 Residents enjoyed sitting in the sunshine and commented on how lovely it was to be in the garden.
Connie, who lives at Acorn Hollow, was singing along and enjoying the atmosphere.
Rachel Astles, Care Home Manager, said, “The garden and decorations looked so good and it was clear that Residents thoroughly enjoyed the little party.”
