HC-One’s Stoneleigh Care Home in Stanley, County Durham opened the doors last week to the Lord Mayor, Mr Bala Nair, the local community and loved ones.
Stoneleigh held a Meet the Manager event on Wednesday to introduce Susan Dodds as the new Home Manager and Annette Ryan as the new Deputy Manager.
A special invite was made to Mr Bala Nair, the Lord Mayor of Stanley who was given a tour of the home and introduced to the Residents who all enjoyed having a cup of tea and a chat with him.
Later in the afternoon, refreshments were served in the form of a wonderful buffet, thanksto Stoneleigh’s kitchen staff. As they ate, everyone enjoyed the entertainment who performed music right back from 1929 and changed costumes with every character.
