Lord Lieutenant of Stirling and Falkirk visits ForthbankLord Lieutenant of Stirling and Falkirk, Mr Alan Simpson, joined HC-One’s Forthbank Care Home in Kirdean, Stirling to celebrate the sixth annual Care Home Open Day on 21st April.

To celebrate in style, the Lord Lieutenant of Stirling and Falkirk, Mr Alan Simpson, joined the home for cream tea to celebrate the Queen’s birthday.

Forthbank also decided to treat any Resident whose birthday was in April by presenting them with a large cake with candles for them all to blow out. Jean Sommerville, George Steven, Mary Keeton and Ian Parker were all centre of attention when they took a seat at the top table.

Steve, the local entertainer, then followed where everyone danced the afternoon away.

The Lord Lieutenant of Stirling and Falkirk was given a tour of the home and met with Residents and colleagues to see first-hand the kind care being delivered.

Forthbank’s Home Manager, Yvonne Graham said:

“I want to thank everyone for attending our Care Home Open Day, we had such a great turn out. I would also like to thank the team at Forthbank. We had a great time chatting to our neighbours and visitors.”
