At West Derby residential care home, Bellefield, Colleagues were delighted when they received a call from a local youth group who said they would like to donated some Easter gifts for Residents.
The group, who had donated a gift for all our Residents last Christmas too, came and dropped the gifts off in beautiful yellow bags; one for each Resident. See pictured two youth worker representatives from the group as well as Home Manager Jackie Bridge and new Resident Harry Knight.
Each bag had an Easter egg, a beautiful plant and a card from the group wishing Residents a lovely Easter.
This was a lovely pick me up and the Residents were over the moon. One Resident said, “What a lovely gift. I can’t wait till we can meet these young people who bought these gifts for us.”
Jackie said, “I am genuinely bowled over at how generous and thoughtful the youth group have been towards our Residents.”
