Residents from HC-One’s Eastbourne House care home in Whitley Bay were the recipients of a lovely gift from workers of their local branch of Morrisons.
During the coronavirus crisis local communities across the whole of the U.K have come together to help out those who are in need. This has rippled through the whole of the country and has been especially present in the care industry.
Eastbourne House in Whitley Bay were the recipients of that community spirit on April the 1st when the local Morrisons visited the home and gifted lots of bread for all the Residents and staff, which reassured them during these tough times.
One Eastbourne House Resident said: “We can look forward to lots of bread and butter puddings now!”
All the staff and Residents at Eastbourne House would like to thank Morrisons Deputy Manager, Irene Mckee and all her colleagues for this selfless and lovely act.
