Residents at HC-One’s The Willows care home, in Hinckley, have been enjoying a visit from local schoolchildren.
Year 6 pupils from St Peter’s Catholic Primary School joined Residents of the 35-bed care home to take part in arts and crafts activities. The youngsters enjoyed hearing stories and looking at pictures with the Residents, while the Residents delighted in wearing the colourful bracelets the children had made for them.
Betty Foreman, Resident at The Willows, said: “The visit of the children has made me really happy”.
Her fellow Resident Christina Pope said: “I am never taking my bracelet off!”
Olayide Siyanbola, The Willows Home Manager, said:
“What a wonderful time we all had, we really enjoyed hosting the children from St Peters.”
