
Residents at HC-One’s Springfield Bank care home in Bonnyrigg were delighted to receive a generous donation from local primary school children.
Pupils from Bonnyrigg Primary School visited Springfield Bank to donate some beautiful handmade knitted blankets. The children took part in a project with a local church where they were taught how to knit, each pupil knitted a square which was used to create some beautiful blankets.
Residents were very impressed with how lovely the blankets were and thanked the pupils for kind gesture. One Resident commented: “It was lovely to meet the children and the blankets they have made are beautiful.”
Lynne Rennie, Home Manager at Springfield Bank said: “Thank you to Bonnyrigg Primary School for their generous donation, it was lovely to welcome the students and we hope to see them again soon.”
