Residents from HC-One’s Hurst Hall in Ashton-under-Lyne, braved the weather to take a trip to Lytham St Anne’s this week.
Amy, Irene B, Freda, Irene H and Eileen enjoyed a day out to Lytham St Anne’s and were able to stay dry thanks to local company, Portakabin, who donated some lovely white and red umbrella’s to combat the rain.
Everyone enjoyed a delicious fish and chip lunch before sheltering in the local pub for a drink.
Hurst Hall’s Home Manager, Cathryn Carr commented:
“When we saw the weather forecast for today, we had a little panic, but thanks to a good friend at Portakabin who was more than happy to donate some umbrellas, the rain didn’t stop us.”
