Residents at HC-One’s Wombwell Hall Care Home took a trip to the local community café recently to enjoy some delicious cakes and refreshments with a group of volunteers who regularly visit the home.
The café they visited, Safeharbour Café, serves the local community as well as individuals affected by dementia, and is part of the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Services.
Residents enjoyed the afternoon spent chatting to the volunteers in such a lovely environment.
Cathrine Veerigadu, Home Manager, commented: “It has been lovely to see the Residents enjoy themselves, a great afternoon of tea and cake was had by all.”
