A Residents at HC-One Aston House Care Home in Hayes recently started knitting again after having stopped many years ago due to her failing eyesight.
Ellen who recently moved to the Aston House Care Home was supported by the Home’s Well-being Co-ordinator Laura Baumane who found out Ellen had been a keen knitter once upon a time.
Laura commented “Ellen was very nervous to begin with but once her confidence started to return she soon picked up her technique for knitting again. It is lovely to see Ellen engaging in an activity she has always enjoyed – I’m confident before long we will have lots of creations from Ellen!”
