Local Care Home goes back in time for a 60’s rave

Staff at HC One Plas Cwm Carw Port Talbot decided to stage a 60’s themed party at the Home for their Residents to enjoy and reminisce about times gone by. Wardrobes and drawers were searched and before long some cool and groovy outfits found so the Home was suddenly full of chicks and dudes like never before. Everyone enjoyed listening to some big hits from the 60’s and Residents described having a real gas or a proper blast. Sandra Vernal the Home Manager commented “we had so much fun with both the Residents and the staff dressing up and really getting into the spirit of the era. And we heard very interesting stories with some of our Residents recalling what they got up to in their youth”
