HC-One Tower Bridge Care Home in Southwark recently held an awards evening to celebrate a number of awards for staff employed at the Home.
A total of 12 staff received awards for long service and also for recognition with Kindness in Care – an award presented to staff when they are nominated by colleagues, Residents or relatives for a particular act of kindness. During the evening the Kitchen staff at the Home were awarded a “Food Excellence Award” as recognised by reviews received relating to the Home by Carehome.co.uk.
Commenting on the evening Christen San Pedro the Home Manager stated “it was a great pleasure presenting the awards to the staff both to those who have worked at the Home for many years and to those who go about their everyday work taking care of the Residents and gain recognition for how kind they are. I was also particularly pleased for the Kitchen team to receive an accolade for the standard of food they prepare for the Residents”.
