HC-One Abermill Care Home in Abertridwr is very proud of one of its Residents who has entered this year’s Alzheimers Society Cardiff Memory Walk. Malcolm who recently moved to the Home is a spritely 82 years old but to him age is no barrier so when he found out about the Memory Walk he persuaded several members of staff to join him for the walk on the 10
th September.
Abermill Care Home Manager Leah Mort commented “Malcolm never ceases to amaze us with his willingness to remain active and puts most of us to shame with his energy levels. We are looking forward to seeing him join the Memory Walk and I’m sure have a memorable day”.
HC-One Regional Managing Director Liz Whyte commented “In all of our HC One Homes we are keen for residents to remain active but I have to admit Malcolm is a bit of an exception. We all wish him well entering the local Memory Walk for what I’m sure will be quite an occasion for him. I would like to thank everyone involved as this is indicative of how HC-One provides the kindest care”.
