Local Aldi donates prizes to Holmfirth care home’s Easter raffleTwo of the staff from White Rose House care home visited the local Aldi store with two of the homes Residents, all on a hunt for some Easter raffle prizes.

The care home Colleagues and Residents took a walk down to the local Aldi to see if the store would be happy to donate some prizes for their upcoming Easter raffle.

When they arrived at the store they were able to speak with the store manager, Nicola, who was more than happy to contribute. Staff and Residents explained who they were and how they are trying to raise money that would support the Residents comfort funds at the home.

Nicola contributed a number of chocolate bunnies that were perfect for the raffle. It’s really important to interact and build relationships with the local community, with Nicola also making a kind gesture that the store would be happy to help out any Residents that come to the store to shop.

The Residents really enjoyed getting out to Aldi and being able to return with goodies for the raffle too!
