Seven Residents from
Kirkby House, residential dementia care home, in Kirkby, Liverpool, took a lovely trip out to the local ‘Forget Me Not’ café.
Colleagues Kirsty and Rachel thought it would be a lovely idea to take a trip out on the minibus to the local ‘Forget Me Not’ café with some of the Residents.
They were all happy to get some fresh air and have a lovely cup of tea.
The Residents enjoyed eating some delicious sandwiches, crisps and cakes along with a lovely cup of hot tea.
One Resident, said, “Ooo I loved my cake and cup of tea.”
There was lots of singing and dancing as well as some crafting. The Residents made their very own Christmas cars to give to friends and family members.
Tracey Conlin, Care Home Manager, added, “Its lovely for the Residents to get back to the ‘Forget Me Not’ café as it has been closed for so long.”
