With the recent easing of lockdown restrictions, HC-One’s The Red House care home in Huntingdon welcomed back some outdoor live entertainment.
On March 29th, Frank Taylor visited the home and performed on the keyboard and trumpet for Residents. On the following Thursday, the lovely Ruby, who is only 14, visited the home and played over 35 minutes on the bagpipes for Residents, which they absolutely loved.
Resident Daphne said: “Ruby was absolutely wonderful, she did an excellent job for such a young girl.”
Residents finished off their week with a Cinema Sunday, where the watched the classic ‘Mary Poppins’. Residents enjoyed ice creams covered in chocolate and strawberry syrup, with sprinkles.
The Residents couldn’t thank the staff and entertainers enough for what was such a lovely few days of entertainment.
