Residents enjoyed crafts, trying haggis and listening to bagpipe music for Burns Night this year at HC-One’s The Gardens care home in Boston.
Residents joined in with an afternoon crafts session making their very own place mat depicting the Scottish flag before a bespoke music guessing game where everyone tried to guess which tune or song had been recreated by bagpipes.
After a busy afternoon, Residents settled down with their special place mat as they enjoyed the traditional haggis, neeps and tatties for Burns supper.
The Gardens Home Manager, Vicky Barty, commented: “We had a lovely lunchtime and it so nice to all be together.”
