Lynda Edwards, a Resident at HC-One’s Willow Court care home in Cherry Willingham, Lincoln is one of the first members of the new pen pal scheme operated in HC-One care homes throughout the United Kingdom.
HC-One, the kind care company, launched a Pen Pal Club with the aim of connecting Residents living in care homes different parts of the country with similar interests.
Lynda was eager to join the pen pal scheme when it was announced, the team at Willow Court submitted Lynda for the scheme and was delighted to be matched with Graham Marno, a Resident at Rose Court in Radcliffe, Manchester.
Sue Lemmon, Wellbeing Coordinator at Altham Court has assisted Lynda with writing her first ever letter to Graham, this has now been posted and Lynda is eagerly awaiting a reply from Graham.
